By signing in to or using Split Expenses ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Split Expenses helps groups record shared trip expenses, split costs, settle balances and back up trip data. The Service is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.
Sign-in uses your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. Trip creators may add members who have no account; those members get full access to the trip once they sign in with the email address they were added with.
You retain ownership of the data you enter (expenses, member details, settlement information, payment proofs, feedback). By using the Service you grant us the limited right to store and process that data solely to operate the Service.
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change over time.
We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Trips may be deleted by their creator at any time, which removes the trip's data from the Service.
