1. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email address and profile details from Google Sign-In, plus the mobile number you provide for members.
• Trip data: expenses, splits, settlements, budgets, notes and feedback you enter.
• Payment proofs: images you upload as settlement payment evidence.

2. How We Use It

Your data is used only to operate the Service: showing trip dashboards, calculating settlements, sending in-app/email notifications you trigger, and creating backups. We do not sell, rent or use your data for advertising.

3. Sharing and Backups

Trip data is visible only to the members of that trip. If you connect Google Drive, encrypted backups are stored in your own Drive under the Service's app folder; backup archives are encrypted before upload and only decryptable with the trip's recovery key. Read-only share links expose the trip report to anyone holding the link.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained while the trip exists. Deleting a trip removes its expenses, settlements and related records from the server. To request account or data deletion, contact us through the feedback page.

6. Security

Data is stored in a protected PostgreSQL database; OAuth tokens and backup recovery keys are encrypted at rest, and payment proofs are accessible only to settlement participants.
